THIS PAGE WILL HELP YOU GET STARTED USING LIFE RP WEAPONS! Guns can only be purchased from the following authorized locations

WHERE TO PURCHASE WEAPONS:

BEFORE USING WEAPONS, YOU MUST ALLOW EXPERIENCE!

To allow LIFE RP COMBAT as a personal experience:

  1. (On Firestorm) Go to Avatar>Experiences
  2. When the Experiences window pops up, go to search and type in “LIFE RP COMBAT”
  3. Select the LIFE RP COMBAT experience from the list
  4. Click “Allow” when the window pops up

IMPORTANT – You must allow the experience AND the sim/parcel location you are in must also have combat enabled in order to use weapons, otherwise they will detach

HOW TO USE LIFE RP WEAPONS:

WEAPON QUICK START

  1. BEFORE USING Make sure the “LIFE RP Combat” Experience is allowed for you (instructions on how above) AND be on a LIFE RP Combat Experience enabled sim.
  2. Make sure you are already wearing the most up to date version of the LIFE RP SYSTEM
  3. Attach weapon
  4. Type /8d to draw
  5. Attach gun magazine
  6. Touch the magazine attached to your hand or from your inventory to load your gun with bullets
    Your weapon is ready to use after loaded
  7. To use go into mouselook and click to fire

Your gun will not fire until you load it with bullets. Each magazine let’s you reload your weapon once, when empty attach a different magazine to reload your firearm with bullets.

Weapon Security Features:

Your weapon will detach as a security feature for the following reasons:

  • You do not have LIFE RP COMBAT experience enabled (see above)
  • You are not on a LIFE RP COMBAT experience enabled sim or parcel (the land owner must add the life rp combat experience to land experience in order to opt-in the location for combat
  • When your health falls below 1 and you are unconscious. (Dead/Unconscious can not shoot)
  • You are arrested or detained by law enforcement and have a UNDER ARREST PRISON INMATE, or JAIL INMATE status (a Police Officer must remove this for you),
  • You have been outlawed by law enforcement and have the OUTLAW role (a Police Officer must remove this for you),
  • You have been banned from LIFE RP roleplay and have the BANNED PLAYER role (only admin can set and remove this. You must open a help ticket to request a ban appeal)
  • You have equipped a Police Issue weapon as a civilian and do not have a police officer role. (Only police can use PI weapons and vice versa. If you have a PI weapon you were given, please turn into the police dept or a LIFE RP admin for an award.)

COMBAT & WEAPON RULES

  • Linden sales of weapons are STRICTLY NOT ALLOWED! If you are caught or reported for selling weapons for lindens, you will be listed be banned from LIFE RP.
  • You are not allowed to wear any items that deter damage other than a LIFE RP Bulletproof vest or LIFE RP authorized armor. Abusing this will result in a ban.
  • You must heal at a LIFE RP medical facility after being killed with a weapon
  • You may not use griefer items to avoid or disrupt active combat
